Caddock film resistors tout low temp coefficient

The USF200 series of ultra-precision film resistors from Caddock Electronics Inc. exhibits a maximum temperature coefficient of 2ppm/C from -40C to 85C and is designed for use in applications such as amplifier gain setting, bridge circuits, reference resistors, and precision voltage dividers with input voltages up to 2.5kV.

Available with standard values from 50 ohms to 10 megohms with 0.01 percent and 0.1 percent tolerance, the series is available with voltage and power ratings of 300V, 0.33W (USF240); 1.4kV, 0.75W (USF270); and 2.5kV, 0.75W (USF271).

The resistors are manufactured with an alumina ceramic sandwich that offers improved thermal performance. The alumina sandwich's thermal conductivity provides increased heat flow away from the resistor element minimizing the temperature rise in the resistor due to power dissipation as compared to "plastic package" resistors. They have a load life stability of up to 2,000h at rated voltage/power (85C).
