Directed Electronics Inc., an after-market vehicle security and remote-start manufacturer, has signed CSI Wireless Inc. as its exclusive telematics hardware supplier. CSI will provide a unique telematics product - the Asset-Link platform, which will serve as the enabling technology for Directed's latest Directrack stolen vehicle tracking system. Asset-Link provides for wireless and GPS capabilities.

Directrack works as a standalone vehicle tracking device, or combines voice messaging, text messaging and/or Internet connections to enable customers to utilize the ultimate range in two-way communication, monitoring and control of their vehicles across the broadest coverage available in the U.S. and Canada. The Directrack will be sold under four of Directed's brands: Viper, Python, Clifford, and Automate.
