"Genesis' display technology helps us produce Flat Panel LCD monitors that deliver sharp images and brighter colors, making them ideal for viewing everything from detailed graphic presentations to web pages on the Internet," said Mr. Ken Kawanami, deputy general manager of display products for Sony's VAIO desktop computer company.

The Genesis gmZAN2 enables flat panel monitors with resolutions up to XGA to display. The chip also features automatic detection of input format, auto-configuration, and an integrated on-screen display (OSD).
