Thinking Electronics varistors target portable apps

The TVM0AXXX series of surface-mount varistors from Thinking Electronics Ind. Co. Ltd come in 0402 sizes and is capable of providing ESD protection to mobile phones, DVD players, laptops, and STBs.

The devices are available with voltage ratings of 8V to 33V and handle a maximum surge current of 10A. They exhibit a leakage current <20?A (25°C) and have a reference capacitance between 45pF to 230pF (1kHz). The varistors are screened for operation over the -40°C to 125°C temperature range.
