Cygnal USB ?controller eliminates external crystal

The C8051F321 mixed-signal Flash microcontroller from Cygnal Integrated Products Inc. comes with an integrated full-speed USB 2.0 function controller, PHY, and clock-recovery circuit to eliminate the need for any external crystal to function.

Available in a 5-by-5mm, 28-pin MLP, the device has a 24MIPS 8051 CPU, 16KB of Flash memory, 2,304 bytes of RAM, and 21 I/O pins. On-chip peripherals include a 1.5 percent internal oscillator with clock-recovery for USB, a 10-bit 200KSa/s ADC, temperature sensor, UART, SMBus, and SPI bus.
