JMAR streamlines lithography operations

JMAR Technologies Inc. has announced that it will restructure and streamline its operations in order to improve profitability and better support the commercialization of its CPL semiconductor manufacturing systems and related technologies. JMAR is a developer of advanced lasers, collimated plasma lithography (CPL) systems, semiconductor production and design services, and precision microelectronics equipment.

As part of the restructuring, JMAR will sell its motion and metrology equipment manufacturing operation - JMAR Precision Systems Inc. (JPSI). Further, the company will combine the operations of JMAR Research, JMAR/SAL NanoLithography, and JMAR Semiconductor into a single corporate entity with three specialized divisions: research division, systems division, and a microelectronics division.
