Acqiris rolls 12-bit, 400MSa/s data acquisition solutions

Acqiris SA has expanded its Cougar series of data acquisition solutions with the addition of two new models that use the ompany's latest 12-bit 400MSa/s digitizer technology.

The Cougar3400 series features the DC440 dual-channel digitizer card designed to perform measurements up to 300MHz. The Cougar3400-2 includes one DC4400 for dual-channel recording, while the Cougar3400-4 has two DC440s for quad-channel applications.

Each channel of the DC440 features a 12-bit digitizer that samples signals at rates up to 400MSa/s and stores data in up to 4Mpoints of acquisition memory. Other features include an SNR ratio of 65dB and a spurious free dynamic range of 80dB.

The Cougar3400 series also comes equipped with a time base system that offers an accuracy >2ppm. It also has a high-resolution sampling rate capability to allow clocking of digitizers with settings down to 0.25 percent of the selected sampling rate.

In addition, the Cougar3400-4's four channels can be locked together using the company's ASBus system, allowing for more accurate cross-channel measurements.
