PPF caps withstand 1.4 times their rated voltage

The MPC series of polypropylene film capacitors from Shenzhen Shengxin Capacitor Co. Ltd can withstand 1.4 times its rated voltage for 5s and is screened for operation over the -55°C to 85°C temperature range.

The components feature a metallized polypropylene film encapsulated in a reinforced, flame-retardant plastic case and sealed with UL 94V-0-rated epoxy resin. They are suitable for filtering, suppressing noise, bypassing, and coupling dc and VHF signals.

Capacitance values ranges from 1nF to 2.2?F (100Vdc, 250Vdc), 1nF to 1?F (400Vdc), and 1nF to 0.47?F (630Vdc) with ±5 percent or ±10 percent tolerance. Insulation resistance is at least 25 gigaohms if the capacitance is <0.33?F or at least 7.5 gigaohms if the capacitance is >0.33?F.

The capacitors' size ranges from 10.5-by-9-by-4mm to 32-by-23-by-13mm.
