The QPO-1 QuietPower output ripple attenuation module from Picor Corp. uses active filtering in a 25-by-25-by-5mm SIP to provide >20dB of conducted differential noise attenuation from 60Hz to 500kHZ.

Rated at 10A, the module can be used with most switchmode power supplies with outputs from 3Vdc to 30Vdc. The device also features a closed-loop architecture, which is claimed to improve load transient response of the source power supply and provides precise point-of-load regulation.

The SIP can control the source either through the remote sense leads or through the voltage trim lead. It also supports parallel operation for high current requirements.

The QPO-1 is surface-mountable with either LGA or BGA terminations. Pricing starts at $12 in OEM quantities.
