Kionix to provide MEMS accelerometers to Kefico

Korea-based Kefico Corp., a manufacturer of electronic control systems for the automotive industry, has appointed Kionix Inc. to be its supplier of MEMS accelerometers. Kefico's latest vehicle control technology featuring Kionix's accelerometers has recently received a multi-year contract with a major supplier of automotive systems.

Jael-il Bae, managing director of Kefico's Engineering and Technology Institute, commented on the long-term agreement with Kionix, "Kionix accelerometers provide the performance required for our advanced systems, and this strategic partnership will assure our competitiveness in vehicle control technology."
