ISSI ASRAMs feature 8ns access time

Integrated Silicon Solution Inc. has announced the availability of the industry's first 8Mb ASRAMs that operate in the 3.3V range and feature an access time of 8ns.

Manufactured using the company's 0.15?m CMOS process, the ASRAMs are available in x16 (IS61LV51216) and x8 (IS61LV10248) configurations, and draw a typical operating current of 90mA and a typical standby current <5mA.

They are targeted for applications in networking/broadband, digital consumer, mobile communications, and automotive markets.

The x16 devices are available in 48-ball mBGA and 44-pin TSOPII JEDEC packages, while the x8 devices are available in 48-ball and 36-ball mBGAs, as well as 44-pin TSOPII JEDEC packages.
