Sanson dot-matrix LCD has 0.55-by-0.55mm dot size

The EDM2004A dot-matrix LCD module of Dalian Sanson Infortech Corp. displays 20 characters in four lines with a character size of 2.95-by-4.75mm and a dot size of 0.55-by-0.55mm.

The device measures 98-by-60mm and has a viewing area of 78-by-25mm. It is available with thickness from 10mm to 14.5mm and can be provided with an electroluminescent or LED backlight.

The company has also released the EDM2002-05 dot-matrix LCD module, which displays 20 characters in two lines. The 163-by-48-by-13mm device provides a viewing area of 129-by-30mm and features a character size of 5.08-by-9.625mm with a dot size of 0.914-by-1.09mm. It comes with an electroluminescent backlight.
