Mitsubishi to deploy amplifiers from HighWave

Japan-based Mitsubishi Electric Corp., a supplier of wired and wireless communication systems, has selected HighWave Optical Technologies Ltd's optical amplifiers to be deployed in inter-city metro-ring networks in Japan, through Mitsubishi's all-optical DWDM platform. HighWave, for its part, will supply the latest generation of amplifiers, including the Erbium Doped Fiber and Gain Flattening Filters.
