Verso Technologies Inc., an integrated communication solutions company, has signed a strategic distributor agreement with Beijing XingCan Tech Co., a China-based value-add reseller that develops and integrates its proprietary software applications with third-party enterprise and carrier telecom equipment.

According to the terms of the agreement, Beijing XingCan Tech will market Verso's full suite of carrier solutions, including its communication applications, intelligent switching gateways, and provisioning, billing and OSS platforms. Additionally, Beijing XingCan plans to leverage its existing relationships with customers such as China Telecom, China Netcom, and China Railcom to establish collocation agreements for Verso's customers looking to expand their businesses into China.

"In addition to already having a presence in the China market, Verso's switching solutions will help round out our existing carrier portfolio," said Zhou Meng, president and principal owner of Beijing XingCan Tech. "Feedback from our customers, partners and prospects reflects a growing demand for highly scalable IP-based switching technology that enables a lower cost structure and accelerates new revenue opportunities. We believe that Verso has the right technology to address this demand and we look forward to working together to facilitate the adoption of next-generation VoIP solutions throughout Asia."
