Allegro Micro establishes new R&D facility

Allegro MicroSystems Inc. has opened a 15,000 square foot design center in Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Allegro is a supplier of advanced mixed-signal power semiconductors and Hall-effect sensors targeted toward the office automation, automotive, industrial, and portable electronics markets. The new development center has a full working lab for design, development and the pre-production of new ICs.
Allegro's new Pennsylvania development center is an extension to the corporate engineering team whose primary purpose is the design and development of next-generation semiconductor ICs and processes. The company currently has three remote sites that work with the current engineering group.
