Arca Technology Corp. has announced that it will utilize Agilent Technologies Inc.'s 93000 SOC Series test system on its first mass-produced 400MHz, 32-bit CPU chip known as the Arca II.

The Arca chip integrates a 32-bit Arca RISC processor core with other functional areas on one chip, creating an integrated microprocessor that is used in network computers, broadband clients, routers, handheld computing, and multimedia applications. According to Arca, the selection of the Agilent 93000 test system was based on its modular versatility to accommodate different test needs, and its ability to simultaneously test digital, analog, bus, RF, and embedded memory.
