UWB is a next-generation short-range wireless communication standard that uses a data transmission frequency band of 3.1GHz to 10.6GHz. It is different from traditional carrier-wave technology since UWB sends low power pulses below the transmission noise threshold. It was traditionally used in military applications, before being released for commercial use by the FCC in February 2002.
The company used its proprietary ceramic material, multi-layer stacking techniques, and high-frequency design technology to produce a chip antenna that measures 10-by-8-by-1mm. |
