LightRiver receives orders for its latest optical networking product

LightRiver Technologies has announced a sale of its Metropolis DMX Access Multiplexer to two new customers in the U.S., namely: Matanuska Telephone in Alaska, and Sierra Pacific Communications in Nevada.

The Metropolis DMX family is LightRiver's suite of next-generation optical networking products. The two companies will utilize the DMX products to increase network capacity and offer faster, more sophisticated services while lowering operating costs.
