Toshiba servers integrate LSI storage adapters

Toshiba Corp.'s PC Server Division has selected the Ultra320 PCI RAID storage adapters by LSI Logic Corp. for its server lines. Toshiba will offer LSI Logic's MegaRAID SCSI 320-1 and MegaRAID SCSI 320-2 storage adapters across their Magnia server lines.

Designed with a low-profile (MD2) form factor for tight enclosure environments, the MegaRAID SCSI 320-1 incorporates I/O processor-based technology, and is suitable for high-density server environments. The half-size, dual channel MegaRAID SCSI 320-2, featuring the LSI Logic LSI53C1030 dual-channel Ultra320 SCSI controller, targets high-performance, mid-range servers, and intensive I/O environments requiring dual-channel RAID configurations.
