Endicott Research Group (ERG) Inc. has released a series of compact dc to dc/ac converters that are used to power vacuum fluorescent displays (VFDs) in security access terminals, gaming machine, automotive displays, and consumer electronics. The series includes the E2598VF, E2577VF, and the E2578VF.

Measuring 31.8-by-23.6-by-13.94mm, the E2598VF accepts an input between 4.5Vdc to 5.5Vdc and outputs two negative dc output voltage ranges: 21.6Vdc to 26.4Vdc (-V1) and 27.9Vdc to 34.1Vdc (-V2). The closed-loop power supply is a drop-in replacement for TDK's CD-1683N device.

The E2577VF measures 35.56-by-27.7-by-13.69mm and provides one positive dc output and one center-tapped ac voltage. It is positioned as a drop-in replacement for TDK's CD-1848P converter. The E2578VF shares the same dimensions as the E2577VF but provides up to two negative dc output voltages and one center-tapped ac voltage.
