Vishay Intertechnology Inc. has announced the release of the Model 21P molded plastic dial designed to serve as a counting turn dial for industrial control applications where there is a need to read the number of turns of a transducer shaft.

The 11-turn dial measures 46mm(?) and features a round Vernier scale on its graduated dial to provide improved readability and high accuracy. It also has a locking brake to keep the reading set.

To eliminate guesswork, the device offers a mechanism on the dial that sounds an alert to the user when a full cycle has been completed. The device's window indicates the competed number of turns of the drive sleeve, while the graduated circular dial indicates the percent of the partial turn of the drive sleeve. Readouts increase with clockwise motion and decrease with counter-clockwise motion.

The Model 21P is made with a clear, metallized finish over a plastic ABS mold and is capable of displaying readings of up to 1,099 turns. It can be mounted directly on the transducer shaft with an Allen key included. A 6mm adapter is also available in the dial package.
