California Micro Devices' (CMD) CM2400-01 USB transceiver features an internal level translator, which permits USB signals to correctly interface with core chipsets that run at voltages from 1.65V to 3.3V.

Designed for use in portable electronic devices, the transceiver provides a USB 1.1 or 2.0 interface between the host and peripheral systems. It can also be used either as a USB host or peripheral device.

The device also features a USB detect function that indicates the presence of a USB cable, thereby eliminating the need for additional circuitry and lowering the total system cost. The CM2400-01 transmits and receives data at 12Mbps, and can operate in either single-ended or differential input modes.

It is available in either a 16-lead HBCC or QFN that occupies a footprint of 9mm? and is designed to operate over the -40C to 85C temperature range.
