Sony integrates MoSys memory into products

Sony Semiconductor Kyushu Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Sony Corp., has signed a licensing agreement with MoSys Inc.

As part of the agreement, Sony Semiconductor will incorporate MoSys' 1T-SRAM memory technology into its own fab in Kyushu, Japan. Sony has been integrating MoSys' 1T-SRAM embedded memory technology into its consumer products and has been in volume production since 2001.
