Xantrex Technology's modular programmable dc power system, the XMP 2600, offers 160W to 2.4kW per module. Users can configure up to eight of 22 available modules in a multiple-output rack for semiconductor-manufacturing burn-in.
Designed to efficiently test a variety of devices-under-test or for replacing multiple power supplies, the XMP 2600 includes software to allow users to instantly reconfigure the system.
The XMP, whose mainframe dimensions accommodate a 3U-high, 19-inch rack, has modules that can provide output from 0V to 8V up to 0V to 160V at 1.25A to 80A. The XMP is available now. Suggested retail price for a fully populated system (eight modules) is about $15,900 and about $9,700 for a half-populated mainframe (four modules).
