Maxwell SDRAM is space-qualified

Maxwell Technologies Inc.'s 256Mb SDRAM is touted to be the industry's first space-qualified and radiation characterized die-based SDRAM device.

Designed for high-speed, high-volume memory-intensive processing applications, the memory device is organized in four 4Mx16 banks and is available in a 68-pin RAD-PAK package. It also has multiple power modes that allow low power operation and features an access speed of 1ns - the fastest available in the industry.
