Taiwan-based ODM, Micro-Star Int. Co. Ltd (MSI), Cirrus Logic Inc., and Oregan Networks Ltd, have jointly developed a Digital Media Adapter platform. The platform is designed to allow consumers to exchange and view digital media content from a variety of network-connected devices as part of an integrated home entertainment experience.

Further, the platform is designed for interoperability within a digital home framework being spearheaded by Intel Corp. and other electronics and PC manufacturers. The platform features a Cirrus CS7808 configurable audio/video entertainment processor, with middleware and application software from Oregan Networks. The platform is scheduled to be in production this year by MSI, and is offered to major OEMs for customization, branding, and distribution.
