Xilinx ships 10Gbps CMOS transceiver family

Designed for the MAN, WAN, LAN, and SAN markets, the transceivers meet OC-192 SONET/SDH, STM064, FEC (G.709), 10GbE, and emerging 10Gb Fibre Channel standards. It supports optical transponder modules such as 300-pin MSAs, as well as XFP modules.
The RocketPHY transceivers operate between 9.95Gbps and 10.71Gbps, and have fully integrated clock multiplication unit and clock/data recovery circuitry.
The family consists of the XGC1120-RocketPHY 10G Ultra MSA which supports SONET OC-192, SDH STM-64, G.709, 10GbE and 10Gb Fibre Channel applications; the XGC1121-RocketPHY 10Gb SONET/SDH which supports SONET OC-192, SDH-STM-64, applications; and the XGC1320-RocketPHY 10GbE/FC which supports the 10GbE and 10Gb Fibre Channel applications.
They are available for sample now and are offered in a 256 PBGA package. |
