Cygnal Integrated Products Inc. has released the C8051F060 mixed-signal Flash microcontroller (MCU) that has two 16-bit 1MSPS ADCs, which can be used in analog intensive embedded applications.

This device is accurate to one least significant bit integral nonlinearity, and has 89dB SINAD. Consuming 20mW per ADC, the company claims that this is the lowest power ADC available at comparable performance levels.

It features 25MIPS 8051 CPU, 64kB Flash memory, 4.352kB RAM, and a 2 percent internal oscillator. It also has a temperature sensor, voltage reference, CAN 2.0B controller with 32 message objects, two UARTs, SMBus, and SPI bus.

This microcontroller is packaged in either a 100-pin or 64-pin TQFP.
