National Instruments has announced the availability of four new advanced digital modules for the Compact FieldPoint and LabVIEW Real-Time control applications.

The cFP-CTR-500 and cFP-CTR-502 are digital high-speed counter modules that can deliver eight counter channels, four gate inputs, and four digital outputs.

They can work with standard industrial control signals such as 5Vdc, 12Vdc, and 24Vdc sourcing and sinking devices. These counter modules are claimed to withstand high shock and vibration, have wide temperature ranges, and feature configurable, low-pass filters that eliminate high-frequency noise.

NI also announced two advanced digital output modules, the cFP-PMW- 520 and the cFP-PG-522, for embedded control applications. The former delivers 8PWM output channels with independently programmable duty cycles for PWM-based control applications, while the latter provides eight outputs that can generate finite or continuous pulse trains with programmable frequency and duty cycle.

The cFP-CTR-500 and cFP-CTR-502 are priced at $375.
