SMK Corp. has released CRC5001-0701G, CRC5001-0901G, CRC1001-0801G, and CRS9001-0201G coaxial connectors that are suitable for GPS equipment, digital radios, cellphones, TV receivers, and automotive equipment.

The CRC5001-0701G and CRC5001-0901G are plugs for PWB, while the CRC1001-0801G comes with cables, and the CRS9001-0201G is a jack-configured offering.

The devices all employ a mold locking system with the SMB (Sub Miniature type B) standard as the base, and can be used in 50-ohm applications. Packaged in embossed-tape for automatic mounting, they also feature an additional tightening system with both the central and external conductors.

The open design of the top portion of the soldering section assures an easy verification of soldering after mounting, and the products permit complete connection due to the push-on full-lock system.

The connectors have a minimum of 100N cable connection strength, a 1.3 maximum VSWR for dc to 3GHz, a 1.5 maximum VSWR for 3GHz to 6GHz, and operate between the -30C to 105C temperature range.
