AnalogicTech releases power MOSFETs for portable apps

Advanced Analogic Technologies Inc. has introduced a new family of n- and p-channel power MOSFETs for portable applications that are fabricated using the TrenchDMOS process.

The AAT8515 is a low-threshold 20V p-channel load switch with an on-resistance of 35 ohms at a V(gs) of -4.5V and 60 ohms at a V(gs) of -2.5V. It is designed for load-switching applications in battery packs, smartphones, cellphones, PDAs, and any battery-powered portable equipment.

The AAT9501 is a 25V n-channel power MOSFET with an on-resistance of 24 ohms at a V(gs) of 10V and 40 ohms at a V(gs) of 4.5V, while the AAT9560 is a 30V device with an on-resistance of 24 ohms at a V(gs) rate of 10V and 40 ohms at a V(gs) of 4.5V.

In SC70JW-8 packages, the AAT8515, AAT9501, and AAT9560 are priced at 44 cents each in 1,000-up quantities.
