Linear Tech op amp features a fixed gain of two
Keywords:linear technology? ltc1992-2? amplifier? op amp?
The LTC1992-2 differential input and output amplifier from Linear Technology Corp. features a fixed gain of two. It provides significant performance improvement over discrete op amp solutions for driving differential signals in precision instrumentation applications where stability with time and temperature is critical.
The product has high stability internal gain setting resistors that provide a fixed gain of two, which provides better gain accuracy over the -40°:C to 85C temperature range. This eliminates the need for expensive precision, external gain setting resistors, thus helping reduce cost and component count compared to discrete solutions.
It is stable for capacitive loads up to 10,000pF, and operates on single- or dual-supply lines ranging from 2.7V to 12V. The device features rail-to-rail differential inputs with a common mode level ranging from the negative supply up to 1.3V.
Available in 8-pin MSOP package, it is characterized over the commercial and industrial temperature ranges, and is priced at $3.95 each in 1,000-piece quantities. |
