The Bluetooth analyzer BTTracer/Trainer v2.1 from Computer Access Technology Corp. (CATC) is capable of complete capture, decode and analysis of v1.2 of the Bluetooth protocol. It includes an auxiliary channel that allows for the capture of mixed piconets, and full automation support through a DCOM interface.

The product offers Bluetooth product developers and manufacturers a cost-effective verification testing solution to help ensure first pass success when certifying products at a Bluetooth Qualification Test Facility (BQTF).

It is based on the company's Universal Protocol Analysis System (UPAS) platform that supports PCI Express, Serial ATA, and USB. The product also features a fast connection, an adaptive frequency hopping, eSCO, absence masks, and L2CAP flow and error control.

CATC is now shipping two BlueVision test suites, the Link Manager Protocol (LMP) and General Access Protocol (GAP) test suites.
