Netopia Inc. has incorporated Conexant Systems Inc. single-chip asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) semiconductor solution in its entire Cayman 3300 Series of smart modems and gateways. The Cayman 3300 series of products leverage Netopia's firmware, manufacturing, and distribution capabilities along with Conexant's ADSL technology to win new residential deployments on multiple networks in the U.S. and Europe.

"Netopia has reputation for providing their customers with first-rate, feature-rich products, and we're pleased to have been chosen as their ADSL silicon partner," said Chee Kwan, VP of Broadband Access Products for Conexant. "We had to comply with rigorous performance and testing benchmarks prior to our selection, and believe that this qualification process underscores the strength of our ADSL product offering," he added.
