Accelink RFA qualifies in 2003 New Products Plan

Accelink Technologies Co. Ltd announced that their RFA (raman fiber amplifier) has been qualified in the "2003 National Key New Products Plan." At the same time, the company has also applied for eight Chinese patents and one U.S. patent for the product's structure plan, special device technology, gain control technology, and circuit security monitor.

According to Accelink, the product serves as a key component in high-speed, high-capacity, and long distance optic transmission. When use in LAN SDH line, the RFA upgrades the 2.5Gbps system's sensitivity up to -44dBm with a line span of over 200km. Meanwhile, under the line attenuation of 54dBm, the line surplus reaches 7dB.

The company has already offered the product to communication equipment manufacturers and research institutes in China.
