Fujitsu, Motorola cooperate on advanced PDA solution

Fujitsu Microelectronics Asia Pte Ltd, a supplier of biometric fingerprint sensors, and Motorola Semiconductors Hong Kong Ltd, a manufacturer of microprocessors, have joined forces in the development of an advanced PDA reference solution supporting Biometric Fingerprint Authentication.

The newly developed Advanced PDA platform combines Motorola's Dragonball i.MX processor, MC9328, and Fujitsu's Solid State Fingerprint Sensor, MBF200, to provide a PDA solution having a personalized and secured way of accessing all information in the up-and-coming e-commerce environment.
