The family of broadband traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTA) from Amplifier Research (AR) delivers more power than standard 200W units, and provides readily available RF power for a variety of applications in test and measurement, industrial and university research and development, and service applications.

Model 300T2G8 (2.5GHz to 7.5GHz) provides 300W minimum at the amplifier output connector, while models 250T1G3 (1GHz to 2.5GHz) and 250T8G18 (7.5GHz to 18GHz) each deliver 250W.

All three models are self-contained, forced air-cooled broadband TWTAs, and are suitable for applications requiring instantaneous bandwidth and high gain. The units are designed to be user-friendly with a modular design that allows easy access for repair and maintenance.
