Sirenza consolidates HQ, manufacturing operations

Sirenza Microdevices Inc. has relocated its corporate headquarters and integrated two of its manufacturing facilities previously located in a number of separate buildings in Denver and Sunnyvale, to a site at the Interlocken Technology Park in Broomfield, Colorado. Sirenza manufactures RF components for the wireless and wireline telecommunications markets.

Additionally, the company reported that they have successfully consolidated their major information technology systems onto a single platform, eliminating the need to maintain duplicate systems going forward. The full consolidation of the two companies is estimated by Sirenza to result in annual operating expense reductions exceeding $10 million. These developments have resulted in a total workforce reduction of about 25 percent as compared to the pre-acquisition employee numbers for Sirenza and Vari-L combined.
