Keywords:icks series? heatsink? fischer elektronik? thermal conductivity?

The ICKS series of pin-fin heatsinks from Fischer Elektronik are fabricated with a large number of specially arranged pins designed to provide high air throughput. Suitable for use in electronic components, the heatsink's material properties, geometry, and structure dissipates heat efficiently.

Made from aluminum, which has a >220W/mK thermal conductivity, the product exhibits an improved heat dissipation than pin-fin heatsinks of the same size made from extruded section or especially from die-cast aluminum.

Pin-fin heatsinks are fastened to the component from which heat is to be dissipated by means of a thermally conductive adhesive, thermally conductive foil or special clamps.
