Zener diodes targets space sensitive apps

Diodes Inc. has released two lines of precision Zener diodes that are based on the company's ion implantation technique which enables control over VZ tolerance to 2 percent at high yield and can achieve tolerances down to 0.5 percent if required.
Suitable for use in space sensitive handheld and battery powered applications that require no-frills voltage regulation, the DDZ series is offered in 3- and 6 pin SOT and 2 pin SOD surface mount packages.
The DDZ9600 series feature a low Zener test current of 50?A, and targets portable end products that require minimum power consumption for extended battery life such as notebooks, mobile communication and hand-held computing devices, and PDAs.
Initial voltage offerings range from 5.1V to 43V for DDZ, and 2.7V to 39V for DDZ9600 with planned expansion down to 3.6V for DDZ and 2.4V for DDZ9600.
