Oak Technology Inc. has announced that their Quatro system-on-a-chip (SoC) reference designs support Accelerated Technology's (AT) Nucleus PLUS real-time kernel.

Quatro is a scalable, extensible architecture for constructing programmable SoCs targeted at personal imaging and printing appliances including multi-function peripherals (MFPs), direct-connect photo printers, and Internet appliance printers.

Built around ARM CPU cores and the company's imaging DSP core, the Quatro family of SoCs provides OEMs with a fully programmable, highly integrated platform for designing full-featured controllers with a shorter time-to-market.
