MergeOptics photodiode suits 10Gbps operations

MergeOptics GmbH has released its OptoPack product family of 10Gb PIN photodiode that is suitable for 10Gbps operation, and is compliant to OC 192 SDH/Sonet, 4Gb/10Gb FC, 10GE standards, and proprietary 10Gb protocols.

Applicable for wavelengths from 1,210nm to 1,565nm, the product is available in die form and is wire-bondable and flip-chip mountable. The OptoPack product family supports all major standards including XFP, X2, and Xenpak.
