Minmax dc-dc converters rake in 93 percent efficiency

Minmax Technology Co. Ltd has released its IDS100 series of 10W dc-dc converters that feature step-down switching regulation and overload protection. Operating with a 93 percent efficiency rate, the product has an input voltage of 5V to 48V, and an output voltage of 5V.

The dc-dc converters also feature an isolation voltage of 500Vrms, isolation resistance of 1,000 megohms, and switching frequency of 100kHz. With an operating temperature range of

-25°C to 70°C, the product weighs 4g and has remote control on/off features.
