The T73227 is designed to accept an input from a standard 27MHz quartz crystal and allows the output frequency to be adjusted or "pulled" by a variable control voltage input. The product's pin compatible companion, the T83027, accepts an input from a standard 13.5MHz crystal and utilizes a phase-locked loop (PLL) design to produce the required 27MHz output frequency clock. The T83027 offers a pin-for-pin compatible alternative to the MK3727.
Typical tuning frequency range is 150ppm (T73227) and 100ppm (T83027), and both devices operate from the nominal 3.3V power supply.
The T73227 is available in 8-pin SOIC and MSOP and is priced at 60 cents, while the T83027 is offered in 8-pin SOIC package and is priced at less than $1. Both prices are for 10,0000-piece quantities. |
