Integre Technologies has joined Tower Semiconductor Ltd's Authorized Design Center program, making Integre the first affiliate in North America. Authorized Design Centers are established to link Tower with IC design firms to provide customers with support for the Tower semiconductor fabrication flow.

Integre offers not only digital ASIC support, but analog and mixed-signal as well. "A strong relationship with a mixed-signal foundry manufacturer allows Integre to offer a wide range of options to the end customer," said Doug Zak, partner and head of the Analog Design group for Integre Technologies. "The overall goal is to provide an efficient and cost effective solution to the end customer; we are pleased to be associated with Tower."

"Tower chooses partners for the authorized design center program based on their ability to provide high-quality design services and to create IC designs that comply with Tower's manufacturing rules," said Sergio Kusevitzky, VP of IP and design services, Tower Semiconductor. "Tower's customers benefit from the relationship by experiencing shorter design cycle times and time to revenue. Also engaging with a seasoned design center with expert knowledge of Tower Semiconductors design, intellectual property and process flows improves the chances of first time Silicon Success."
