The KPRV2021 and KPRV2022 photoreceivers incorporate Inphi's high-bandwidth 4334TA TIA and high-gain 4331TA TIA, respectively, with a limiting output buffer and the company's waveguide-integrated pin photodiode.
With an optical-to-electrical bandwidth of 40GHz and a differential conversion gain of 300V/W, the KPRV2021 is designed specifically for OC-768 applications, and features a control option to adjust DC offset between differential outputs. The KPRV2022 module has an optical-to-electrical bandwidth of 33GHz with a differential conversion gain of 1,000V/W and is designed for high sensitivity non-return-to-zero (NRZ) applications.
Fabricated in indium phosphide, both receivers exhibit a supply voltage of 3.3V and power dissipation of <350mW. The products come in an MSA-compliant small form factor package, which provides direct access to the differential RF output as well as to the DC lines via a coplanar waveguide ceramic feedthrough. |
