Zoran licenses additional MIPS cores

Zoran Corp. has licensed MIPS Technologies Inc.'s IP cores, specifically the MIPS32 4KE and 32-bit M4K cores. These new agreements broaden Zoran's adoption of the MIPS architecture.

"Since announcing the original licensing agreement with MIPS Technologies just one year ago, we have introduced two new MIPS-based products," said Ram Ofir, VP engineering at Zoran. "We look forward to expanding our relationship with MIPS Technologies and to collaborating on the development of optimized solutions for the growing CE marketplace."
