SMK Corp. has developed a CRT socket with a socket section depth of 50 percent of the company's previous VSW series products. Designed to mate with the JEDEC No. B10-314 specification, the CVT-3290-2401 socket enables reduced depth of TV receivers. Spark gaps are housed for compatibility with a range of specifications, and the employment of a snap-in system ensures easier connection and disconnection of high voltage cables.

The short double focus CRT socket accepts a CRT with a 29.1mm(?) neck and a 15.24mm(?) base pin circle. The device also features a withstanding voltage of 20kVdc for 1m and contact resistance of 20 milliohms.

Sample price is $1.35 per unit.
