Superscape Group plc has announced that Motorola has licensed its Swerve i3D Graphics Client, which Superscape jointly developed with ARM Ltd.

Swerve i3D Graphics Client will be embedded on select Motorola devices expected to hit the market in mid-2004. By using the Swerve i3D Graphics Client new features such as 3D gaming and 3D character based applications will be enabled. The client is JSR (Java Specification Request) 184 compliant, which is important for the seamless integration and distribution of 3D content to the global carrier marketplace.

Additionally, a number of 3D games developed by Superscape, using the company's Swerve Author toolset, will be either embedded on select Motorola handsets or available as over the air (OTA) downloads.
