Murata ultrasonic sensors target robot apps

Murata Electronics has released the MA200D1 series, a new line of high frequency ultrasonic sensors that are designed for robotic systems, factory automation, and household electrical appliances. The products can also be used as detecting double-fed paper in scanners and copiers and double-fed bills in ATMs.

Improving measuring accuracy, the MA200D1 line features quick response time and short ringing time. The series allows stable sensitivity to be provided over a wide frequency band. In the frequency band of 220kHz ±20KHz, the product has achieved attenuation improvement from -20dB to approximately -3dB. Given this advancement, the attenuation increases the directivity from 7° to 20°.
